When you have a highly creative kid, you get to see works of art anywhere and everywhere. Shruthkirti got this sudden spark and set to serve our typical South Indian lunch into a piece of art.
For my plate she made a mountain out of steamed rice and veggie sambhar ( veggie and lentil soup with South Indian spices) lined with steamed sweet potato pieces and resting on a layer of soil of spiced and cooked eggplant with onions and tomatoes, clouds of veggie salad ( carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes).
For Shreedhari's she made a smiley face .
